If you find that you and your family members are shivering as the cold temperatures of winter begin to creep in, it may be the right time to investigate the prospects of adding a new heater. The versatile US Stove 1500 offers an additional heater for homes with a furnace that works, but doesn't provide enough heat for comfort. It can also act as the central heater in your home. The US Stove 1500 uses both wood and coal as a fuel source, making it a versatile multi-fuel furnace for homeowners around the world.
How It Works
You can have the US Stove 1500 installed right next to your existing furnace and make use of the existing ductwork in your home. The firebox of the multi-fuel furnace is lined with firebrick and has been designed to improve the heating efficiency and capacity of the stove. The stove can hold up to 70 pounds of coal or logs up to 26 inches long. Its powerful twin 550 CFM blowers provide the necessary air flow to send the heated air into your home.
If you choose to install the multi-fuel furnace yourself, you will need to be sure that you have all of the correct tools and supplies necessary before beginning installation. The instruction manual gives the specific information that you'll need concerning the installation. Items not sold as part of the stove kit include the floor protector, chimney connector, radiation shield, draft inducer kit, and universal filter box. However, some of these items can be added to your purchase. You may already have many of the tools necessary for installation.
The winter season offers plenty of beauty and wonderful winter sports. When you can return to a warm home after a day spent in the cold, your enjoyment of the winter season will be more complete. Whether you choose to use the furnace to improve the results you're achieving with your existing heater or in place as the main heater in your home, the US Stove 1500 can help you to enjoy the beauty of winter without feeling the cold of the outside temperatures.
